Things in Russia are turning into a practical direction. The number of the kin's domains is growing, one group of settlers went thru a lot of red tape and finally had their village registered officially by the government as a new community with an official address, zip code etc. The name of this eco village is Kovcheg (Ark), Enthusiasts are filming documentaries about other settlements and distribute them via the Internet. I wouldn't say the price is very small for Russians (a set of DVDs is about a thousand rubles, i.e. approximately US$ 35) but the viewers response is full of admiration and excitement: those are movies about absolutely real people and places that contain a lot of energy of their special kind. One of the enthusiasts to film and distribute those documentaries is Vadim Karabinsky (he has his list serve and site but I don't have the links at the moment).

The official Anastasia site went thru some streamlining and new administrators (women) put in a lot of energy to shake it up but unfortunately they put off some of the forumers. That site had a lot of true supporters but it was also full of bla-bla-blaists (hesitant people who would prefer to talk and look for the answers in front of their PC rather than do something). Some other sites appeared where there is much less metaphysics and global considerations but much more very practical advice and tips for eco-settlers who started building their domain - from how to dig a well with just you and your second half to housing construction and animal training to raising children and independent energy supplies. You can watch members' movies and pictures there too, even though you may not understand the language, the photos and the voices will tell you enough about how things are going in Russia and Ukraine and Belarus (I guess some other neighboring countries are also featured there). Take a look at http://www.vpomestie.ru to see all that yourselves.

Basically, the country is at cross roads with a certain number of pioneers trailing the path without ever looking back or wanting the "civilization" as we know it. I should say, however, most of the population are still in the rat race out there for coins. Yet the number of those who are building their domains is definitely growing without much publicity.

You are right, Mark. There's no law yet. The settlers are using existing laws to register their domains in the new eco-settlements, there are a number of possibilities for that.

More info about the existing ecovillages is here: http://www.rodoposelenia.ru and http://www.prirode.ru

Some of the sites post quotations from politicians, artists and religious leaders related to 1-hectare idea. There are not so many outspoken statements in support of Anastasia from them, though. Yet the most furious opponent, Mr Dvorkin, a US Jesuit college graduate who somehow managed to get a position of Cult Studies department head at the Russian Orthodox Church University and was ferociously attacking Megre and Anastasia readers in the press and on national TV channels, seems to have been removed and is off air.

Just watch the sites. I always get a fantastic feeling after watching those people creating their space of love, and it's great to know the space is expanding

I am so happy for Russia, and for all people everywhere who are hearing the wake up call.
Even better, my elderly russian father (Alex)..Oleg, wants to read all the The Ringing Cedars books because on the weekend I lent him the Book of Kin.....and then he rang me the next day to ask me if he could read them all....he says it is all very true and that he has a very good feeling about all of this.....(and let me say he does not give support easily so this IS very very good).....and I can also say that something very special and good is happening right now....which a fruition early next year....which means a massive amount of help and support for the intention and the energy around The Ringing Cedars People....

Know you are blessed beyond what words can even say....

Namaste

you know, in the old days we had to be afraid of the russians because they had 'dangerous weapons'. after the fall of the maur and gorbatsjov it became a more open country. but how to deal with this new Russia.
it is good and makes me joyfull to read messages from russian people who are just as interested in a 'peaceful and happy world' as we, western kapitalist  are.
glad we get to know each other like this! :P

That's exactly what you could have read in the Russian papers or watch on TV: "learned" people would call Anastasia followers "A totalitarian cult" that forces people out of their comfy apartments into the wilderness to die of hunger and robs them of their property. You know the 'first news effect' mastered by all our media: you throw in a lie, and people would never accept the truth. Thus calling Anastasia a cult had an immediate effect on many people who would never take a book with that name. The imprint of the 'cult' image will breed mistrust and rejection.

It's funny that such posts have appeared here. It was a big issue in Russia because many readers were inspired by the idea. In the English-speaking world the books were apparently not dangerous for the system, and it let some guys talk on the Internet about it. Listen, if there are more of you, you will have your own Dvorkins and other hired journalists spreading scary stories like the ones we were listening to in the past decade. Get ready.

Anastasia and others speak of 'pure thoughts' and 'pure images'.
Those people you speak off 'bob' have not!

Anastasia beared her baby's and let them find out their environment completely on their own. She hardly interfere's. For one thing getting attention, food, and security from the animals they become accainted with. So I doubt that true Anastasia followers would interfere in other peoples lives like (this guy) 'bob' says. People who read Anastasia's books and totally know what she is saying will never intervene purely because of love.
If these people are keeping their children in captivity it is obvious that these are not responding to love at all and aren't Anastasia's words believers because of the lack of love for people, nature and GOD her/himself.

I would appreciate it if you post your messages on 'CULT' boards and 'old religion websites' instead on 'new energy' sites.
Thank You!

That's kinda fun to see information coming from different corners of the world to fit into a complete mosaic picture. I watched a TV programme about the American prophet Edgar Cayce, got interested and looked for more, and here you go:

"Through Russia, comes the hope of the world. Not in respect to what is sometimes termed Communism or Bolshevism -- no! But freedom -- freedom! That each man will live for his fellow man. The principle has been born there. It will take years for it to be crystallized; yet out of Russia comes again the hope of the world,"

From what I read about Cayce, he was very cautious and reluctant to speak about the future, and I think I know why - the future is in our minds and heads, we can create and co-create it, so many predictions of calamities and cataclysms would never materialize. In other references Cayce said Russia would lead the reviving civilization with the centre in Western Siberia. That's exactly where the river Ob flows.

One thing I definitely learnt to watch out is the danger of pride as the deadliest sin. I am posting this message NOT to stress that the hope is coming from Russia. I am posting it to add yet another argument in support of the kindom idea for those who are still uncertain (should we call them disbelievers?) and who may believe in prophets and heed Cayce's words: since no other ideas or principles have come from Russia after the fall of Communism and Bolshevism, it must be the Ringing Cedars planted by the loving hands and shooting out from Australia to British Columbia!

More good news from Russia!

One of the Russian Regions' legislature has passed a law on kin domains in the region. People are to be given at least a hectare of land for life to be passed to heirs (family members only) with no right to sell, utilities and infrastructure such as natural gas and power lines as well as roads shall be the responsibility of the regional government.

I have been to that city (Belgorod) in summer, it looks fantastic and the spirit down there is also, how to put it, both invigorating and gentle. They also have 'black soil' - extremely fertile lands.

The other piece of news is really inspiring. Megre's 10th book is out - and readers learn that Anastasia told him he could write nine more books. The excerpts on the Internet tell of new characters - an Ice Age girl Anasta with her kin of Wood (elder), Allan (could have been her future husband) and her sad (?) end. Also a lot of new info we all could feel inside
