Well, the ferries are expensive......to Vancouver it is almost $50 each way, and takes 2 ferries, one is 50 minutes, then 2 hours driving, then another 35 minute ferry ride.....to Vancouver island it is about an hour and a half ferry ride, and the an hour to nanimo, and 3 to victoria, so commuting would not be an option probly....although my frined is working on the island, 4 days a week, and here 3 days.

There is nothing wrong with transitioning into such a new lifestyle for a while. It give more time to show and tell to more people our plans to inspire others etc. :)

I ask about jobs and such because as it happens, my husband is looking for new work and we are not against the idea of moving when we switch. We're US citizens living as permanent residents in Canada, so we have the option off either the US or Canada right now. I'm really liking the idea of the Shambhala -Shasta community in Mt Shasta (the aforementioned website), but I have a LOT of questions to ask them about what they know about intentional communities before we take that plunge.

Since we live in cohousing NOW, we have learned a LOT about what it takes to form a community, and the amount of WORK that goes into it. It is one thing to create ONE homestead - forming an entire intentional community is quite another. So of course there are questions about that - it takes a great deal of forethought to make a community succeed, but it certainly can be done :)

Listen to all the words to this song. :)

This is how I feel about everything, and things allways work out better for me than I plan, so I don't plan much, just dream and go with the flow.

enjoy. :)

Hello All!! :)

How are you this fine Wednesday afternoon? I pray this posting finds you all well. :)

I am currently acting as a volunteer coordinator to bring Dr. Leonid Sharashkin to Vancouver to present his 2 day workshop on the Anastasia teachings.

I am hoping to find some interested individuals here as there is a minimum of 40 participants needed to cover the expenses for Dr. Sharashkin to come and share his knowledge!

If anyone knows of any venues with a 60 person capacity, kitchen facility, and near amenities (restaurant, etc) it would great if you could let me know. :) A room with natural lighting would be wonderful.

My email is gary@omnifilm.com Please feel free to contact me.

I am compiling a list of names and am working with two other Anastasia lovers on the East Coast to coordinate a May 2010 Canadian tour if you will. :) Hearts open and fingers crossed.

The workshop details can be found on the website> www.ringingcedars.com

Much Love and Light To You All,
Gary
